There
are six routes used to climb Kilimanjaro. Each has different elements
that reasonably can cause a climber to select one over the other.
There are routes that approach from the west, the north, and the
south, and each offers different viewpoints.

There
are relatively easy trails, moderately difficult routes, and even
dangerous ones. There are routes that are favorable for altitude
acclimatisation. There are routes that are better when climbing
during the rainy season. There are routes that offer different accomodations,
huts versus tents.
Given
all of these factors, this site was created to inform climbers of
the differences between the six established routes to assist in
planning your Mount Kilimanjaro climb.
